About Taylor Police Auxiliary
The Taylor Auxiliary Police Civil Defense was
organized as a volunteer position, in 1962. The
Auxiliary Police shall handle the vacation house
checks, business checks, school checks and
holiday shopping center anti-theft programs and
such other programs as deemed necessary to
further the Crime Prevention Unit goals. The
Auxiliary Police shall maintain a state of
readiness in order to handle requests from sworn
officers for assistance in the event of
emergencies.
